Daily Practice (Sadhana)

Pastel watercolor illustration of outdoor morning breath practice in fresh air

As a teacher, I remind every student: "An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of theory." The ideal time is at sunrise, on an empty stomach, barefoot or seated upon a natural cushion when the morning air is rich in negative ions and revitalizing vitality. Consistent fifteen-minute daily practice transforms your nervous system more than sporadic weekend marathons.

Guided Exercise — The 15-Minute Morning Sadhana

Recommended Step-by-Step Sequence

1. Two minutes of quiet alignment and postural centering.
2. Two gentle rounds of Kapalabhati to awaken internal fire.
3. Ten deep cycles of resonant Ujjayi to stabilize the nervous system.
4. Seven balanced cycles of Nadi Shodhana for mental clarity.
5. Three minutes of quiet seated meditation absorbing prāṇa at the heart center.

Always close your session with a moment of silent gratitude toward the lineage and your own living body.
